Le Petit Chou is in the heart of the medieval village of Entraygues sur Truyere facing the traditional square with its splendid plane trees. There is a beautiful local outside swimming pool, just across a footbridge over the river Lot. The village has a stunning chateau, currently housing a private school. There are a myriad of little streets and courtyards and a 12th century bridge crossing the river Truyere.

Le Petit Chou is run by the owners of Le Petit Pois - a beautiful little shop in the main street of the town - it has has many delicious gift ideas, local mohair products, soaps and candles, soft furnishings, photographs in renovated window frames and much more.

Ideal for canoeing, walking, hiking, cycling, riding, fishing, wine tasting, golf and sightseeing at nearby medieval villages. Historic/tourist sites include Conques, various museums and chateaux, Roquefort caves, Millau Viaduct. There are many local wine producers and Farmer's Markets in area. There are also plenty of excellent restaurants and regional and gourmet food.

Location
Entraygues sur Truyere, Aveyron, is at the meeting point of rivers Lot and Truyere. Plenty of small shops, bars and restaurants. A charming square with traditional Plane trees has a bustling Friday market and a 'Farmers Market' on Wednesday evenings. Stunning countryside, dramatic valleys, incredible wildlife, including otters in the clean fast flowing river Lot. Canoeing, riding, walking, cycling all immediately accessible, plus historic towns and chateaux. One hour from Rodez, Ryan Air!
Living rooms
Le Petit Chou is beautiful little bijou Chambre d'hôtes, comfortable and cosy and very romantic. Furnished with antiques and quality furnishings throughout. Lovely interior features with old stripped floorboards, and lovely old tall French windows.
The Chou is above the little Salon de Thé - which goes by the same name, where breakfast is served from 7.30 am. There is a warm relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a wide variety of teas, coffees, milkshakes and smoothies. We bake scones, cakes, cup cakes, tarts and we make our own Italian ice cream.
As well as breakfast, we serve light lunches and dinners including: paninis, salads, croque-monsieur, a variety of delicious salads and a daily 'plat du jour'. With this we can also serve wines, beers and champagne.

Bedrooms
Framboise has a sunny private balcony leading out from the bedroom through two sets of double French doors. Olive has an enormous bathroom with a central bath and separate shower and double sinks - it is en-suite with the bedroom accessed via a few steps. Framboise is tucked into the attic, it is sweet and cosy - also with a charming en-suite bathroom. WIFI, TV, and DVD player. Pets welcome.
