Kitchen facilities
Large fitted kitchen, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, double sink, coffee-maker, kettle, cutlery, utensils, table and chairs. Supply of tea towels. Overlooks the front of Le Manoir.
There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron in a separate building (small charge for usage), and a washing line outside.
External facilities
The outdoor alarmed swimming pool overlooks the lakes, has a jacuzzi feature and a light for evening bathing.
The terrace by the pool has tables, chairs, sun loungers, and outdoor toys for children. This is a popular place for outdoor dining - barbecues especially.
3 lakes, fishing, and two rowing boats.
The woods are ideal for a nice stroll, and there are bikes & basketball net for the more energetic.
There is a golf driving range in its infancy (you just have to collect the balls!

Le Manoir can accommodate 10 adults, plus children in parents' rooms. No charge for cot/toddler bed. There are 2 other rooms available in the adjoining building if required (sleeping 2 + 2 children in each room). Please contact us for further details.

Lac du Gurson (walking distance) with its beach, swimming, long water slide, adventure playground, mini golf, pedaloes, bars and restaurants;
Villefranche de Lonchat,
Montpon-Ménésterol (canoeing available for all ages - a lovely way to spend a few hours),
Castillon la Bataille (wonderful re-enactment of the 100 Years War in the summer) and Porte St. Foy with their delightful weekly markets;
St. Émilion (for everything about wine, with tower to climb, catacombs to explore, and land train to do a bit of sightseeing);
Lake Jamaye, on the way to Ribérac;
Bergerac (beautiful historical town on the Dordogne river);
Libourne (bustling town);
Périgueux, Brantôme, Sarlat, Rocmadoc - all steeped in history;
Bordeaux (fascinating city).
Further afield are Sarlat, Riberac, Perigueux, Arcachon (miles of beaches) and the Dune de Pyla, Europe's largest sand dune.

Location
From the moment you turn into the 500m drive, you start to relax as you approach Le Manoir, sitting in a totally private location, with incredible views over rolling countryside. This little bit of heaven offers the best of all worlds, being situated in the midst of nature with the beauty of every season and the wonderful variety of wild life, yet also having every comfort and modern convenience.

Living rooms
The large lounge has a woodburning chimney insert, Sky tv, reclining sofas, and overlooks the front of Le Manoir.
The dining room has a large wooden table, with comfy chairs, and overlooks the garden, to the south.
There is a rear hall, which is ideal for morning coffee for those who don't want to sit out in the sunshine by the pool.
Bedrooms
First floor:
Gold room: king size bed, en-suite shower, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, table, chair, overlooks the lakes.
Ruby room: king size bed, en-suite shower, fitted wardrobe, table, chair, overlooks the ruins of Chateau de Gurson.
Emerald room: king size bed, separate luxury bathroom, wardrobe, table, chair, chest of drawers, overlooks the ruins of Chateau de Gurson.
Sapphire room: two single beds, en-suite shower, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, chair, overlooks the lakes.
Ground floor:
Diamond room (currently being refurbished): double bed, en-suite shower, fitted wardrobe, table, chair, chest of drawers, overlooks the garden.
All rooms have hairdryers.
All bed linen and room towels provided (except for cot). Swimming towels available for small hire charge. Guests are required to bring their own towels for the removal of sun tanning lotions and hair colorants.
