External facilities
Balcony terrace facing south with seating for that all important morning coffee. A private swimming pool 5 x 12 metres with roman steps at shallow end, set in a large patio area with covered annexe housing exercise machines, t/tennis table. There is a gas BBQ for outside entertaining and good sized patio table, chairs, umbrellas and loungers.
The washing machine is housed in a separate laundry room under the house.

Special features
The grounds extend to the side of the house through a formal garden bordering the river and leads onto a meadow – plenty of scope for walking and exploring the surrounding countryside.
In addition there are two adult mountain bikes available. There is also a small boat for those keen on pottering about on the river. Holiday fishing permits can be arranged prior to visit at additional cost. Email for details.

Local activities
The Corrèze is one of the most untouched areas of France being flanked by the Auvergne on the one hand and the Dordogne and the Lot on the other hand; the landscape is varied and offers beautiful countryside, rolling hills, picturesque villages, winding brooks and famous rivers such as the Dordogne and the Vezere. Of course this area is also famous for the well known Limousin cattle, which you find everywhere, especially on the "roof" of the Corrèze: the plateau de Millevaches, the plateau of the 1000 lakes. There are many splendid beautiful towns such as Argentat and Beaulieu, but also large rivers such as the Vezere which surrounds the old town of Uzerche almost entirely, or the river Corrèze crossing the proud cities of Tulle and Brive; proud because of their rich history, monumental buildings, their festivals, gastronomy and markets. The Corrèze has hundreds of lakes with a surface of more than 3000 ha.

Location
The village of Perpezac le Noir is 2km drive from the house and has a small supermarket, boulangerie, charcuterie, pharmacy and café/bar/tabac. The larger town of Uzerche is about 15 minutes drive and has a much larger supermarket and two slightly smaller ones, along with all other amenities. The town of Brive is about 20 minutes drive south which has a fantastic Saturday market and all the shops you could want. The village of Vigeois is also very close with its large Lac de Poncharal.

Table will easily seat eight. Modern fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven, Fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher etc. Downstairs toilet. There is a telephone and ADSL.

The millhouse/studio gives the option of additional bedroom accommodation and has two beds.

Upstairs there are two large bedrooms with 2 single beds in each; the third has a king size bed and an ensuite shower room, washbasin and toilet. There is also a family bathroom with bath and shower attachment, washbasin and toilet. Plenty of wardrobe/storage space. A cot is available on request.
