Kitchen facilities
The kitchen/dining room in Valenti is filled with character yet has all you need to cater for a family holiday. A freestanding gas cooker, double sink unit with drainer, fridge/freezer,microwave and washing machine. A dining table in the centre can seat 6 people comfortably and there is a large cabinet with all the plates, glasses, pans and utensils stored within. There is a barbecue with utensils and we also provide an iron and ironing board and all cleaning materials.

External facilities
The terrace of Maison Valenti is a particular feature, with two areas, one which is perfect for a breakfast croissant and coffee and the other for dining al fresco with the stunning views of the mountain opposite. The garden room, which can be rented alongside Maison Valenti provides another sleeping room for two people and has another wonderful terrace for sunbathing on the loungers provided. There is a woodland garden area as well.

Local activities
Maison Valenti sits at the rear of the hamlet of la Coste, sitting adjacent to the Gorges D'Heric. The Gorges offers magnificent walking, climbing, a host of wonderful pools in which to enjoy a paddle or a swim or just to listen to the many waterfalls. At the foot of the hamlet sits the River Orb which again provides amazing river swimming, fishing and kayaking. Within a short drive lies Lamalou Les Bains which has a famous spa, a casino and golf course. The wine of the region is immense with over 300 domains each having their own unique style. Most offer "degustations" some at regular times and others by appointment. The Caroux Mountains to the rear of the property offer more excellent walking opportunities and have some lovely lakes which are a pleasant relief in the heat of summer. The beaches of the Med are just over 50 minutes away. There is also horse riding on the approach to lamalou les Bains

Location
On the edge of the national park in the Herault and situated at the rear of a peaceful hamlet. Maison Valenti provides character accommodation with stunning views, backing on to the Gorges d'Heric. The international airports of Bezier, Perpignan and Montpellier are all within an hour and a half drive, and the long sandy beaches of the Med are less than an hour away. Located between Olargues, one of the prettiest villages in France, and Lamalou les bains with its famous spa.

The living room in Maison Valenti is typically French and of the era with flagstone flooring, a beamed ceiling and a woodburning stove. Cool in the summer and very cozy in Autumn and Spring. There is a TV with both French TV and basic British channels via SKY satellite. A DVD player with a selection of DVDs for rainy nights and a CD/Radio hi/fi with a selection of CDs. There is also The living room opens to the kitchen/dining room and a door leading to the rear lobby which in turn leads to the WC and Shower room. Both of which have white suites and tiling.

Maison Valenti has two upstairs bedrooms. One is a double with a hanging space for clothes and a chest of drawers. The second can be laid out as a double or two singles and has a double wardrobe and chest of drawers. and a window with a stunning view up to the mountains.
