An Overview of some of the regions best allround fishing spots
La Gartempe is large and deep with very strong currents. It is full of many different species of fish and trout can still be found. La Gartempe is constantly looked after and cleaned which makes it easily accessible. Towards Châteauponsac and Rancon, the river is known “the salmon river”, not to be confused with trout.
