There are also The Grand Sites of the Midi-Pyrénées, many of which are close by, including Rocamadour, just 12 kms south of the camping. This historically famous Pilgrimage Medieval City is an amazing sight to see, where Pilgrims still to this day follow the well known Route of Saint Jacques de Compostela to visit the Black Virgin. The camping site area is very peaceful, with views over open countryside where you can enjoy watching birds of prey soaring above the trees; the park is brimming with wildlife, flora & fauna, & exquisite orchids flowering in May early June. Marvel at the sky by night, situated in an area known as the ‘Black Triangle’, the stars are plentiful, like diamonds in the sky, dazzling brightly against a deep black velvet sky. Shooting stars in August are incredible. Each pitch is fully equipped with everything that you require for a relaxing holiday; your own 10 amp electric hook up point, own water tap, own grey water drain with the amenity block close by. The main building is located away from the camping area, & this is where you will find the Restaurant, Bar, Entertainment, Quiz Nights etc, so should you not wish to participate, you will not be disturbed by any of our organized activities.
