Rodez Airport Guide (RDZ) Rodez airport (Rodez-Marcillac) is a small but growing airport located approx 10km outside of the centre of Rodez the departmental capital of Aveyron in south west France. It has one international runway of 2km in length, as well as a second, small runway of 800m in length. Negotiations are underway to keep 2 return flights per week after 25th October 2008 on the London Stansted route and are looking at possibilities to keep the Dublin flights during the winter.
Ryanair operate the flights between Rodez and London Stansted. Flights are commencing on Sunday 30 March 2008 and there will be 1 flight a day between Rodez and London Stansted and 1 flight a day between London Stansted and Rodez. 
Air France operate the flights between Rodez and Paris Orly. Air France has 3 daily flights Monday to Friday from Rodez to Paris Orly and 3 daily flights Monday to Friday from Paris Orly to Rodez. There is 1 return daily flight on Saturday & Sunday.
Hex'Air operate the flights between Rodez and Lyon. There is 2 flight a day between Rodez and Lyon and 2 flights a day between Lyon and Rodez from Monday to Friday. No flights operate Saturday and Sunday..jpg)

The airport at Rodez, Aeroport Rodez-Marcillac, is located 12kms north of the Rodez on Route D840. The airport is well signposted from Rodez and not difficult to find.

Rodez taxis can be hired from just outside the terminal building. You can pre-book but it's not really worth the bother.There are about five local Rodez taxi firms that work the airport. They are all metered so you won't have to worry about the driver making up a hefty bill when you arrive as can happen in some countries..jpg)

The airport, officially known as « Rodez-Marcillac Airport » is located 12km west of Rodez centre or a 10 minute drive close to the wine-producing town of Marcillac. Properties in the Marcillac area are probably the most sought after in the Aveyron. This is due to a number of reasons.
