Additionally, a modern oil fired boiler provides automatic “back-up” for both systems. To date, the boiler has only been called to provide hot water on the rare occasion, and has never had to provide assistance to the heat pump. Precise heating control is made by digital thermostats in each room.
A construction permit has been granted to build a second cottage within the grounds.
Outside
