The layout of the house is of a ‘traditional’ plan with proper individual reception rooms rather than being of the now ubiquitous open plan layout. To supplement the central heating on those cooler winter evenings, the large lounge also has its welcoming wood-burning ‘insert’ type fire to give that extra cosy ambience. Both bathrooms are equipped with thermostatically controlled and programmable electric towel rail type heaters.
All habitable areas have PVC double glazed windows and retractable fly screens have been installed in all living area windows.
Including hall, laundry, bathrooms and w.c.’s, there are 14 principle rooms.
Externally and set in the extensive, mature and well stocked gardens with a large parking area, is the very private 12m x 6m swimming pool (which is 2.3 metres at the deepest end) and the cuisine d’été (summer kitchen), surrounded by a large, paved plage (terrace). To provide for a true al-fresco summer lifestyle, the cuisine d’été has been fully fitted and equipped, just as one would expect to find in a house and also has its own hot water system and an attached and fully equipped salle d’eau with shower, wash hand basin and separate w.c.
