The local gem of a ski resort at St Jean d'Aulps is only a few minutes drive away, with great walking and snow-shoeing in the area. During the summer, there are 200 km of sign-posted footpaths taking you to some of the regions most spectacular mountain peaks. Many of the paths also explore the Vallée d'Aulps allowing you to discover the different villages, lakes, mountains tops and rich alpine fauna and flora. And Lake Geneva is only 25 minutes drive away.
Le Bas Thex has its own climbing wall, the escalade reaches nearly 900 feet. Fishing and canoeing are available in the nearby river.
