Maison Bretagne Renovations is a family run team of renovation experts based in Brittany led by Jon Tuson. Jon, an accomplished carpenter and joiner, ran his own contracting business in the UK for more than 16 years before relocating to France in 2007.
Maison Bretagne has undertaken a variety of different projects since its creation, from the internal renovation of Manoirs, refurbishments of Parisian apartments, heritage stonework on Breton fishing cottages and new builds, such as garages and pool houses.
The main aim of the company is to respect a building’s origins, by enhancing or maintaining the character within, whilst providing a full renovation service for clients. Maison Bretagne is registered and fully insured to carry out carpentry, joinery and masonry work, as well as internal decorating and finishing. In addition they contract other qualified and insured artisans to complement their service in the domains of electrical work, plumbing and heating installations. The company holds a QUALIBAT certification in Masonry work and also for the RGE: Reconnu Garant de l’Environnement which recognises professional competence in energy saving renovation works.
Maison Bretagne collaborate closely with an established Architectural firm based in northern France to provide an exhaustive planning and applications service to all their clients.
