Thanks for agreeing to contribute to the FrenchEntrée Community Area! There are a few rules before you start typing away – be sure to read them. We manually approve each post to ensure that it meets our criteria, so please stick to the guidelines below, otherwise we will only ask you to edit your post before it goes live. Here’s a summary of the rules:

  • Please begin your article with your full name and email address.
  • Your article can be of any length between 200-800 words, on any subject relating to France. From your property buying experience to recent holidays you’ve enjoyed, from food and drink recommendations to quirky tales from local life… The subject matter is limitless!
  • Your post should be unique, unpublished elsewhere and written by you. Please do not copy information from the web as this is usually subject to copyright. If you need to reference, please insert a link.
  • We reserve the right to edit the copy, or ask you to edit the copy, prior to publishing.
  • When you submit an article for publication you grant us permission to do so. However, you retain copyright on all articles submitted.
  • Please attach at least one decent-sized image in landscape format by clicking on the ‘attachment’ tab once you have registered. We reserve the right to use a different photo(s) if required. It is vital that you name the photo the same as your article and tell us who took the photo at the end of your article text.
  • Please select the relevant tags in the drop-down. This is an important process, as it will allow people doing a search on FrenchEntré to find your article more easily. The better your tagging, the more people will read it!
  • Prior to your article going live, you will be asked to join the ever-growing network of Community Contributors by supplying a photo of yourself and a short biography.

Good luck and thanks for contributing! If you have any questions, please email the editor.
