I tried to post several times, but once the picture appeared in the Preview, the “Submit” button disappeared.

I give up on this Forum

I recognised it from Sandrine Voillet’s BBC documentary “PARIS”. If I remember correctly it was a quarry then a tip.

For anyone who knows me personally you’re welcome to borrow the DVD. Just remind me the next time you see me.

The video reminded me of another aspect of French life .. graffiti in the cities, respect for property in the country!

Most graffiti one sees in the country consists of a large NON! painted across the road although I have seen a variation where the exclamation mark is upside down and at the beginning.

I had another but the wouldn’t work. Sorry.

Has anyone any idea why, using Firefox, when I place a Photobucket link in the “Reply To” window, the picture appears in “Preview”, but the “Submit” button disappears.

I have posted this (if it works) by copying a Pb link using Firefox and then pasting it here using Internet Explorer, as I can’t copy Pb links when using IE.

    Here’s the picture anyway……….

 Plus, select the English menu in McDos, swipe your card, get served and eat whilst you’re WiFi connected. You could be anywhere.

I don’t think Mt. Canigou is visible from that stretch of coast, but you’re within 40Km or so.

    That’s a bloody long 40Kms from Banyuls!

It’s from our apartment in Le Barcarès, looking SW across the étang towards Canigou.
