Alexandre Pieraerts is the founder of FAV Services, a relocation and administrative support company dedicated to helping English-speaking expats successfully move to and settle in France.
Over the past several years, Alex has specialised in French visa applications, residency permits, healthcare registration (CPAM), and complex cross-border administrative procedures. Working closely with relocation and insurance partners, he has assisted hundreds of individuals and families navigating the realities of moving to France in a post-Brexit world.
With a background as a digital entrepreneur, Alex brings structure, clarity and process to what is often perceived as an overwhelming system. What began with assisting expats with vehicle registrations quickly evolved into a full relocation support service, after recognising a recurring issue: relocation problems rarely come from lack of intention, but from poor sequencing, incomplete files, or misunderstandings of how French administration actually works.
Today, FAV Services supports clients with long-stay visas (VLS-TS), visitor and entrepreneur visas, residency renewals, healthcare registration and licence exchanges. But beyond compliance, Alex focuses on strategic relocation planning – ensuring each step is taken in the correct order to protect legal status and avoid costly delays.
Alongside the administrative pillar, FAV Services also offers a 360° VIP Concierge approach. Once the legal framework is secured, Alex and his team assist with the practical side of settling in: coordinating bank accounts, utilities, property purchases, insurance, vehicle registration, and liaising with local institutions. The goal is simple – not just to move to France legally, but to live here confidently and smoothly.
Known for his transparent and straightforward communication style, Alex believes that clarity prevents mistakes and reduces stress. He regularly speaks at relocation webinars and events, providing practical, real-world insight rather than theory.
Based in Bordeaux, Alex works with clients relocating from the UK, the United States, Australia, South Africa, Canada and beyond.
