We launched this consultation service after being contacted by buyers who had found a property they loved but needed advice before making an offer. We quickly saw the gap: many people were falling for beautiful renovation projects without truly knowing what would be involved, what was realistic, or what might be a costly mistake. That’s where we come in.
Our service is designed to offer clear, honest, and independent advice before you commit. With packages starting at €250, we carry out in-person or remote visits to assess the property’s visible condition. We review key elements such as the roof, masonry, joinery, and layout, and provide tailored insight into renovation potential, local planning requirements, project phasing, and likely timeframes. We help you weigh up your options and avoid nasty surprises.
Remote consultations are ideal for overseas buyers. We review property listings, floorplans, and agent-supplied video tours (live or recorded), then follow up with a Zoom or phone call, or a written summary with recommendations. We also offer optional follow-up support and can liaise with agents where helpful.
As a registered artisan d’Art, our advice is grounded in decades of real-world building experience. We are not estate agents or salespeople; we work solely for you. We help you understand what’s possible, practical, and potentially problematic before you move forward.
Alongside our consultation service, we continue to carry out full renovation works across all our registered trades. From roof restoration and stone masonry to bespoke joinery and complete kitchen or bathroom installations, our bilingual team brings professionalism, skill, and a hands-on understanding of local building practices.
